Bubble Tea is a tea preparation that has risen to popularity in its home country and all over the globe. While the origins of this tea are debated, it is said to trace its roots in the country of Taiwan in the late 80s. Back then, shaved ice and tapioca pearls were a popular dessert that was easily available everywhere. Milk tea was also a common beverage in Taiwan, until someone tried to change its taste and texture by adding tapioca pearls and shaved ice.

Our mission

The resultant concoction created a surreal blend of ingredients which comprised of tapioca balls at the bottom, topped with layers of shaved ice and milk tea poured on the top. The tapioca pearls look like bubbles floating at the bottom, giving rise to the name ‘Bubble Tea’. This delicious beverage became widely popular in Asian countries. The Bubble Tea market grew in the United States and European countries when the Asians started travelling to these regions and introduced the Bubble Tea recipe to the foreign lands.

Ever since, Bubble Tea has been given different names that include Boba Tea, zhen zhou nai cha, pearl milk tea, tapioca ball drink, BT etc. This cold beverage has now become popular in many countries, including the United States. Stall owners have started experimenting with this beverage by adding delicious syrups, fruit powders, and many toppings, including red beans, jellies, and even pudding.
